The Ice Cream Van was first released as the Ice Cream Cruiser, according to Fandom, in 2009 as #43 in the City Action segment of the 100 Mainline Series. A second version was also released in 2009 in the Dream Halloween Promotional series as the Ice Cream Van. Eight additional variations were released thru 2013 with 5 modified versions in subsequent Mainline segments; 2 in 5 packs; and 1 in a 10 pack as an exclusive casting.
In 2019, the casting tooling was revised to make an all plastic bodied casting with a metal base. It was released again in 2020 as the Ice Cream King.
This variant (as Ice Cream King, although it still says Ice Cream Van on the base) was released in the 2019 mainline and was also available in 2020 multipacks.
