The Ice Cream Van was first released as the Ice Cream Cruiser, according to Fandom, in 2009 as #43 in the City Action segment of the 100 Mainline Series. A second version was also released in 2009 in the Dream Halloween Promotional series as the Ice Cream Van. Eight additional variations were released thru 2013 with 5 modified versions in subsequent Mainline segments; 2 in 5 packs; and 1 in a 10 pack as an exclusive casting.

In 2019, the casting tooling was revised to make an all plastic bodied casting with a metal base. It was released again in 2020 as the Ice Cream King.

Here is a carded version of the 2011 Ice Cream Van in pink. It has a metal hood, front grill and fenders and a plastic body piece for the cab and van body with a metal base. It is #43 in the 75 (USA) mainline and #63 in the 100 (ROW) Mainline Series. And #4 of 14 in the City Action Segment. And it is embellished with "Mr Coneys Tasty Treats" on the doors and van sides. And "Mr Coneys Coney Van" in the vans lighted window bar. Ringed disc wheel sets are used at both the front and rear. And the front window piece is smoke tinted. The van interior is out fitted with freezers and other accutraments appropriate to the being a vendor in a grey/silver plastic.
