Is there any real signifigant difference between the 110V model and the AC model with regard to cutting ability?

I believe 110V and AC are the same thing??? I assume you're talking about 110 verses DC? I prefer the AC model for convenience. Never tried the DC one.

there are two ac truers out there, a smaller"sport" and a larger truer, we had a sport truer eat up its motor and found out that that motor is no longer available? Reggie ended up buying the larger one from sand hills raceway and that works better,if your buying a truer used be aware no parts may be available.

Yes ww grainger has a motor that fits exactly and turns a lot of rpms but spins the wrong way, Reggie finally got a hold of the guy that made them and he had a dc conversion but he stated it didn't have as much power and we felt it was under powered as it was, the larger one will pull out tree stumps!
