This range of model vehicles is more commonly referred to as 'Matchbox Dinky's". This L-R is a neatly produced model for it's time. Detail is a little heavy in places but it captures perfectly this well loved Landy. One area to note is the cast in numbers on the registration plate. This is a carry over which was first introduced in the old Lesney Matchbox range of miniatures.

Well it did roll accidentally into the water! Perhaps I should have took a couple of snaps instead of rescuing it!
