I picked this up a while back from Larson Designs.

M-4 is part Sargon, part Nomad, and part cloaking device.

The kit has about 20 parts all resin, 6 clearish.

It's a builders kit, the parts need a bit of cleaning up.

The construction starts with gluing a disc between 2 half spheres.

Disaster today!

M-4 had a gravity induced spontaneous disassembly.

I had gotten a coat of aluminum on M-4 and had sanded some spots. I put him aside to prepare the paint, and off the table it went.

The Earth with all of its complex fields within which it was formed sacrificed it's immorality. Entropy ultimately rules.

It's been reconstructed and re-primed. Take that Entropy!

Looks great! ?

I always thought they used a colander to make that particular robot when seeing it in the episode. Seeing your model in detail, though, it doesn't look a colander.

M-4 is done.

I was going to make a wood base for him, but then I thought I need a TOS planet background for my Spocks, and 3 future figures so I went in a different direction. I think it works. I still need to get something better for the ground.

You might check out some of the finer model rail road ballast material or ground covers for your display. You may also be able to find a suitable substitute in your yard, too!
