Well, it was noon time, and we were in a mall food court, but nary a scrap of grub on the table. Instead, there was a buffet of die cast!

I was on the road in Rob's neighborhood, and we arranged a quick get together. Hadn't seen each other since Johnny Jam. And Rob had a special gift for me; a custom '69 Impala Red With Flames Zinger!!!! This car is a beautiful piece of work, and will have a special place in the Carnut Johnny Lightning Museum and Bar & Grill 1969 Impala wing (Motto: "She's real fine, my Sixty Nine!")

I'm going to let Rob post pics of this beauty, as he assures me he has some that are first rate!

We spent an hour plus chatting it up and having fun. I could've spent a;; afternoon there, and regret that we forgot to hit the KB in the Mall together.

Cool score from Rob to you, can't wait to see it. I ran into Rob last Sat. at the Fall River WM and we talked for a good half hour/45 minutes. He then headed to the WM near my house and helped me score a new Jada Mustang. :thumbsup:

Ok, here's Rich's Impala....

And Rich handed me several cars I needed, like the KISS '59 El Camino (hey, it's an El Camino) and Lizzie from CARS ...also offered me a bunch of BWFs, but I already had 'em,. I snagged one anyway for a possible custom. And then he casually handed me this car...

Like an idiot, I told him I'm not really into Lincolns. He told me to take a closer look. DOH!!! It's pearly white! I guess I can be a little s-l-o-w sometimes. Thanks Rich! Glad we were able to get together.

oh,and don't worry. KB's had nothing! Bill....good running into you, too.

Just want to make clear, Terry, that Zinger Impala is an ECchopper custom. Wasn't made by JL/RC2 :thumbsup:
