I like what you have done with these, I built this Jupiter 2 back in 1998, and I bought the robot but never finished it, I eventually gave the Jupiter and robot kits away. I noticed the other day that my LHS still has one of the Jupiter 2 kits on the shelf, It has been there since 1998, I may pick it up and revisit this model.

Thanks guys!

These kits are really well made...despite what one may think of the designs and /or the Movie!

They both were a pleasure to build up! I would actually love to build up another Robot with Lights and sound...perhaps even the J2 again!!

Good job on your builds and the heavy weathering techniques. I built 2 of the movie J2's a few years ago, but none of the Robot. Too bad the kit did not offer the option of the hyper-drives extended. :(

That's really nice work, but I just can't get used to thinking of these things as the LIS Jupiter 2 and robot. To me the ship looks like a knock-off of the Millennium Falcon and the robot looks like a Transformer...:freak:
