Looking For A Few HobbyTalk Exclusive 350Z's

This year, I took several HobbyTalk Exclusive 350Z’s to Lightning Fest to be used as door prizes and such. Since I’m trying to keep a registry of all these cars, I added a label to the protecto pack instructing the recipient to contact me in order to have the car registered. These were the first cars I was unable to register as I shipped them. Since then, I’ve received a few emails but several remain unaccounted for. If you were lucky enough to have received one at LF, please contact me at [email protected] in order to have the car registered. Additionally, if you happen to know of someone who may have receive one there, your assistance in getting me contacted by the owner would be greatly appreciated. The car numbers I’m trying to locate are:

251,257,258,267,269,270,271

BTW - I’ve seen a number of post by members expressing concern there would be no cars left by their anniversary. I’m confident this will not be a problem. I have enough cars to cover everyone who was a member as of April 30th, 2004. I’ll probably have some cars for members who registered after that date too. Hopefully, I’ll be able to work with RC2 on another car to be available by April 2005.

I'm still looking for 251,257,267 & 269

Possible leads on those numbers would be Bill's daughter and the person who entered that Batmobile in the model kit contest (Marsboy?). Another little boy who entered a snap kit got one as well.

You did get my email on the leftovers right?

Yep Marsboy did the Batmobile and that was cool's son Kyle who entered the snap kit,,,, but there was no 350Z sitting with his model and trophy..

Hmmm

There was a theft issue going on. I think Jeff Fleetwood got an award and White taken, others could have gotten their Z's taken as well. I hope that isn't what happened? I know I was busy chasing down missing cases of model kits at the time so perhaps this is an issue that also needs to be addressed for the future.

Yep, I have them accounted for. I also have Amanda(Bill & Pat's Daughter's) car recorded. Eric, AKA Marsboy and another board ID

, has emailed me as well. I don't however have one recorded for Kyle, Cools son. Hey Joe, if his car was taken, let me know and I'll ship him another one. :thumbsup:

Bobby, I'll guarantee his car was taken... I brought his entry home with his trophy and maile dthem to Kyle, so I know he didn't get it

I noticed that it was mentioned that some things could have been taken.I wish things like this wouldn't happen. In my room on Saturday night (822) after the dinner I had someone come in and manage to swipe a car that I had displayed. It must have happened when they had me look for something that may have still been packed away. I just found it odd that they stole a Hot Wheel car (blue mustang) at the Johnny Lightning Fest. I will keep my eyes open a little more in the future. I will be posting my pics from the fest sometime in the next week. Hope you find the remaining #s Bobby . Take care .

Just for clarification, the cars I'm looking for are not presumed to be stolen. I assume they were rightfully awarded and I'm simply trying to keep the registry up to date. (Well, it appears one may have been stolen, Kyle's)

Hi...Bobby, He didn't rec. the 350z...Rob, can Clear that up...Thanks...He'll Even be more Happy...When he rec. one of them..Now He'll be asking me when are we going to Lightning Fest Again...:thumbsup:

well there wasn't one there initially and I had asked and Mark brought me one over , so I do have one from fest . I had just assumed I didn't get one because I got the trophy for the batmobile . So maybe there was one there and while I was elsewhere and it *ahem* drove off
