let me try again...asking your opinion about light kits for..larger sub kit..jai or voodoofx..quite a price difference..jai looks kinda cool with some pads that look like a firm gel for lights and I'm aware of the mr. randy's stuff and it's good..for many of us that really don't know it's so easy to spend more money than we need to..I'm not against spending more but a little advice can be very helpful and the outcome can be better...tia

I've used both.

Voodoo: Very "scaled" lighting. Strives to be screen accurate whenever possible. For that museum-quality look, taking it to the next level. Good customer service, too. Has customizable services, as well.

JaI: Very nice products, plug-n-play, for those who are afraid of soldering. (Like me) Has that innovative EL sheeting, suited to certain applications. Also has good customer service.

Just depends on your specific needs. Both guys are great to work with. I feel safe sending my money to either. :wave:
