Hunter's Moon is a pretty good episode for both interior and exterior shots. Along with The Flaming Planet, both season 3.
Also "Flight Into The Future" has a lot of interior exterior shots!Hunter's Moon is a pretty good episode for both interior and exterior shots. Along with The Flaming Planet, both season 3.
There is an awesome Land of the Giants episode that shows the BEST, LONGEST interior shots of any episode. AND in bright, daylight conditions!!!! Oh, what's the name?? Oh, "Home, Sweet Home", here on Hulu:Wattanasir, this is just what I was looking for! Thanks for doing my homework for me. This is great.
I just tonight watched Hunters Moon by chance and 'rewound' several times to study the interior.
Thanks guys!!

Great article kdaracal! Thanks so much for posting it! I've got it saved.I also PRINTED this entire pod "Build-a-Long", from the culttvman forum. It is essential because you'll find the pod instruction sheet lacking in several areas.

This was done by Brent Gair, who's pod build made it on the cover of Finescale Modeler, in 2009, or 2010!
Man, I never saw that episode when LOTG ran back in the day! I think it was on at the same time as some other show I liked or something. There is an awesome Land of the Giants episode that shows the BEST, LONGEST interior shots of any episode. I used it extensively as I built the pod! Very excellent shots of the full size mock-up exterior, as well. Virtually no modifications for the LOTG.
Yea. The miniature is better looking than the full set!Man, I never saw that episode when LOTG ran back in the day! I think it was on at the same time as some other show I liked or something.
Funny thing, the Pod looks so squat and dumpy! I remember it being a little more svelte! funny how time plays tricks on you like that. But there's something else I'd never noticed before! That rectangular panel on the front left side exterior, near the window level...it's got lights! Did it do that in LIS? It looks like a kind of chaser sequence.
And stupid technical point. Why is it in the entire episode nobody even MENTIONS Betty? Just, she's not there!![]()
