I've been working on a light equipped Silent Running Drone and did a test of it's light last night. This is just the light from the single LED in it's headlight. The battery is a 9V housed internally. The base of the drone has a sliding door, unfortunately I forgot to include a switch when I did the wiring. :(

And I found such a nifty little press button switch too! Could have hidden it nicely amongst the detail since it was only 1/4" long.

Next time...

Nearly finished painting the drone now. I did think of opening it up and adding the switch but now it's painted I'll leave it "as is". I am thinking of adding lights to the other two.

One issue I had was working out how to have access to the interior for changing the battery. Initially I had a screw on base, but the supports to take the screws took up too much room, so I cut them out and added rails for a slide on base. I'll put up a photo showing it later.
