I just finished this one. This is the Glencoe "Mars Liner" which I converted into the Disney "Moonliner". The kit is "out of the box" with only the Leds added by myself. I decided to light the kit to see if I still had the touch. (I finished the Apollo 11 kit at the beginning of March).

The cockpit is a mix of Green/Red Leds, the windows are Blue Leds, and the door is a blinking red Led (emergency exit). It looks a lot better in person.

Very cool, iriseye. I've not seen a lighted one before. I've had that kit around for years and haven't gotten around to it, but you're inspiring me.

Nice work on this! I built one of these some years ago and lit it with a single cool white LED powered by three button batteries. I installed a miniature pushbutton switch scavenged from a dollar store booklight where the rocket exhaust port would have been. It's featured in my Retro Red Planet diorama. Your lighting job is much more ambitious than mine by comparison.
Very cool!
