For those of you who have finished and lit the refit's shuttle/cargo bay:

Did you just prime the ceiling part, paint the final color and insert the clear light strips?

OR

Did you prime, lightblock with black or silver paint the outside and the slots for the clear parts, then paint the final color?

For the exterior hull, I would automatically light block but I am not sure in this case.
