I have been given a Lesney Jaguar 3.4 Litre saloon with No.65 on the base. It is painted blue, has no windows, straight axles & grey plastic wheels. It measures 6cm long x 2.2cm wide - does this make it a 'matchbox' size? Also can someone please tell me what vintage this Jaguar is, and what is the difference between the No.65 and the No.65A which I see advertised on Ebay? As you can see, I'm a real novice!

You have the 65a which is 62mm in length and introduced into the line up in April of 1959. The 65b was introduced in Feb. of 1962, is 6mm longer and came in red and with green tinted windows. It also came with silver, gray, and black plastic wheels.

Thanks very much for your help. Is this called a 'matchbox' size. What sort of value does it have, if any? Thanks.
