I have been given two diecast? Cars …. One is of a Mercedes Benz Gelandewagon made in Germany cursor model no 679 …unboxed but immaculate … the other is boxed and described as Classic car 2930 classic convertible … do these have any value at all?

Sorry for your loss. Yes, they both have some value. We recommend using the eBay sold listings to determine current market value and interest. Dont despair if you cant find them right away that may mean they dont come up for sale very often. Here are the current listings for your models. You can filter down to your area and for shipping costs as well. Prices lately for all diecast seem to vary greatly by location and related shipping costs around the world!

I am very sorry about your father in law. The Mercedes is more collectable and made in Germany. The other is a more generic and probably made in China. Keep it in the box but check the baseplate to see if it is identified. Any words there will help its value but it should not be worth more than a couple US dollars. The Cursor might be $10 without a box... Find a niece or nephew or grandkid to give them to, that might be a good solution...
