There has been some quality oval racing taking place here in the midwest over the past few months with the BRL series and some great local track action. That, coupled with an ugly economy and the expense of a week at the Birds has caused some of the LE Birds faithful to miss this years event; I think. Plus, I know of a few of guys with new jobs (or worse yet, no jobs) and no accrued vacation time.
yep what old guy said is why i'm watching the snowbirds on the web.
with myself doing good in the BRL series i'm sitting out snowbirds so i can make as many as the BRL reaces as i can.
I'm not Dave but here are some of the LE guys that i know are racing at snowbirds.....but i may leave some names out ....
Dusty Dean ....4300 and stock and expert 19
kenny mox ....4300
mark recio....4300
john birmele.....stock
sorry may have missed some
Guys keep in mind that the guys listed above have a LE car but might not be running and/or not sponsored by LE
keep an eye on these guys some still have a great shot to make the A main and other's have a shot for the bump up ......

I don't see why not. Scott, your lightning has a pretty good setup on it now I'd say. I would use the executioner pod plates though.
Thanks Dave. I have a second Lightning now and I wanted to experiment with it.
dave and jason, i have been racin'here in mpls, at least 40 miles south,anyways been runnning 4 cell stock on a 94' run line and narrow lanes, but every week my travelin' partner and i up the ante, got to 90 laps and tq last week but got wrecked in the main. anyway just an update, the exec. is without question the greatest car i have ever raced. hope to see you guys in omaha! :wave: oh yeah get you shovels ready

thats what chassis i ran at Fort Wayne in the BRL series
