Firstly the second placed 908L from 1969. Driven by Herrmann & Larrousse, the #64 had a ding dong battle with the #6 GT40 of Ickx / Oliver. In the end, the Ford prevailed by some 120 metres. I'm awaiting receipt of the Ixo #6 Ford. The 908 itself, is another superb model from Ebbro.





With the #23 908L of Schutz / Mitter, which retired



From 1970, we have the winning #23 917K of Herrmann / Attwood. This model is by Auto Art, and every bit the equal of the Ebbro 908s.

Been meaning to get around to posting on this. Something just always come up.

The 908 was one of my favorite of the mark. Just like that long tail. Never forget seeing them several months after LeMans in the mags. I liked the 910 better. But my favorite still has to be the 904 GTS. Not necessarily one of the fastest Porsches. But style out the wazoo!
