Introducing: KCM Race Cars

KCM Race Cars (Kyle Inman) has been fabricating and racing prototype racing chassis for carpet oval and dirt oval for nearly four years now. This all started with one goal in mind: produce race cars that are well thought out and make sense given the class of racing they’ve been designed for.

Our first public release and first production racing chassis made will be “The Nightmare”, a 1/10 carpet oval racing chassis.

1/10 Pan Car Oval Chassis - KCM Nightmare
The following will be required to complete a Nightmare conversion:
-any Associated 8-32 style front end
-shocks
-rear axle & hubs
-servo mounts
-front body posts

Included:
Chassis and pod, including pivot and links, fully assembled with black aluminum hardware

Nightmare Conversion: $225 plus shipping.

We also have an SK and a 1/12 Scale:
KCM Tour Mod:
--Available as a complete conversion (just add axle & front end)
--OR
--Available as a conversion for any car which uses HD Pro4/5 Pod Plates
-Lots of space for electronics and lead
-Made for use with the Aero-1 body
-Can use normal T-plates or long (pivot back .25") like ORC HD, RIP, McPappy
-SK KAR Approved for 2012-2013 Season

Just a heads up if you're considering getting a Nightmare conversion... depending on the electronics and body you choose, you'll most likely need at least 3oz of lead/tungsten to make weight! :dude:

The car in the pictures (my 13.5 open car) has 3.25oz of tungsten stuck on it to make weight.

Well, I'd have to call last night's outing a success. I came within a tenth of the track record in round 1, broke it in round 2 and again in the main. I still only got second however, but it was to Brian Ziegler, so I'm fine with that. (he was also driving a prototype car which is very similar and shares a bunch of parts with ours) I also recorded some of the fastest laps that 13.5 open has ever done at the track. Just need to work on my power combo a bit more so I can finish stronger; the car was great!
