You'll need to paint in sub-assemblies because once the arms & legs are attached it will be difficult to reach some spots.

Also, you might not want to glue the legs to the body until you can position his feet on the completed glider - I found out the hard way that it doesn't line up perfectly if you glue the legs to the body first (I had to use screws to keep him attached as my son loves to fly him around the house and crash him into his Spidey kit).
