Isn't copper sometimes blue? Could Jango's ship and armor have been painted this copper sulphate blue and it later oxidized into the patina color that Boba Fett has - maybe inherited the ship and armor?

Possibly. Or Boba could have just painted it to suit his needs. I've been reading some SW books & there is a list of what the colors for Mandalorian armor means. Red = revenge, green = honor.. something like that. I'll have to find the list..

Well, there ya' go!

The fun part is that Mandalorians have a thing with wearing armor bits of fallen family members. Must make for some interesting color combos of beskar'gam at times! :freak:
