JA-RU Inc is a third-generation toy company founded in 1961 in Jacksonville, Fla. They are the leading distributor of Impulse Toys (?) and has an operations base in Hong Kong. They have been producing 'rack' type toys since the 1980s.

In the early 2000s, they were marketing the "Real Wheels" diecast series using Golden Wheel, High Speed, (TC) Tai Cheong, Welly and Yat Ming's made castings. Some models were also of unknown origin. They were more likely to have been found in the Eastern US states, but available across the country.

The "Real Wheels" series of diecast have been available since the 1980s

Previously they have issued - Yat Ming's as "Super Wheels"; Universal made castings as "Super Wheels Trucks" and "Super Cabs"; Welly's as "Pick Ups"; High Speed "as "Muscle Machines"; HW's and Universal's as "Wildwheels"; Yat Ming's as "Work Trucks"; Summer's as "Lemans"; Sze Toys as "The Bus"; and a generic series of (6) "Off Road Pick Up" models. This last series includes the infamous Faie made truck casting with the 'Corvette' name on the base.

They also marketed a "Pepsi" series in the 2000s simultaniously with Golden Wheel.

An unspecified relationship with Zee is also noted.
