OK. I know I am behind, but I saw a JL model kit that had a diecast car in it also. The diecast looked like a 1:64 version of the model they were selling.

Jl / Ertl has made 6 so far that I know of . Only retail Ive seen them is WalMart .. 64 GTO , 06 GTO , Ford GT , 55 Nomad , 70 Challenger & Ice Cream truck ..

I've only seen the '06 GTO, Nomad and GT at WM. Was tempted to buy the GT but didn't feel like parting with 12 bucks for a regular JL that looks very close to one I already have.

Just about, all the parts between the Ford GT kit are completely interchangable between Polar lights and the JL kits...I'm working on a project involving the GT's and have a few of each and all the parts are co-mingling nicely.
