Of course, hotrodhobbies took out the dirt oval for a paved oval/on road coarse (which is nice I might add).... so

my question.. is there a SOCAL dirt oval track anymore? You would
think SOCAL would be the center for alot of tracks.. yet its so
far and few between. *ugh*

Mits,

I think it's called Pegasus Hobbies, they are in the Pomona/Montclair area I believe. (I'll know more this weekend, cause I'm heading to Revelation Raceway which is supposed to be just a few miles away.)

Further North, you can run dirt oval on one of Southern California's OLDEST Dirt Ovals. At Camarillo's Freedom Park (Behind the Camarillo Airport). The track is run by the Ventura RoadRunners r/c club.

I think there is one other Dirt Oval in So. Cal. that opened last year...but the name escapes me.

The DELTA R/C Speedway is actually in Northern Calif. (I'm in Central and it's about 5 hours north of ME) They are up in the River Delta area...not too far from Sacramento

You get the idea, I always considered the Delta area Central Cali, everything north of that "northern" CA.

Maybe it was Pegasus, I bet if you contact The Delta Oval guys, they'd know

However, the track is extremely tore up with all this rain. I work there. We are having the track totally redone with oval on the outside and a offroad infield. The guy we are hiring said it will have perfect banks. we'll see. He is also going to be putting in drains for the rain water. I'm not sure when it is going to be done though. The track might be open by april if it stops raining :(
