Ok, so I will be racing on carpet for the first time this upcoming season. I've only ran on outdoor asphalt and indoor concrete before. Most likely going to be running 13.5 COT, but not sure on class yet.

What do I need to know? What is different? I will be using a different car for carpet than my cap tire car of course, but how different will setup be?

It seems that tires are pretty important on carpet. Is cutting foams down a must? Give me the scoop on what I need to know and what I need to get before I go! Thanks!

I run 3 pinks and a XX Pink Rf on my 21.5 car so that should be a good start for you. I run BSR tires mostly. Most folks cut down their tires to 2.2" to start.

Tires Are A Biggy And You Will Get 50 Defferent Suggestions And Or Opinions I Always Run Rc4less 3pinks And A Purple R/f Not Matter Where I Am At. Dont Ask Why It Just Works.. And Yes You Will Have To True Them Down Start At Around 218

If You Are Running A 2s Lipo Class Like 21.5 Lipo I Would Start Accordingly

10-11 Ksg Birate R/f Spring Zero Droop
9-11 Ksg Birate L/f Spring With Abour .060 Of Droop
5lb Center Spring With 45 Weight Oil
10lb Rear Side Springs With 35 Weight Oil On Both Sides..

On Center T-plate With An Offset Pod...

If Your Running A Chassis Where You Can Adjust The Front End By Sliding Back And Forth Run It In The Longest Position And Trail The R/f By About .030..

If You Need Any Other Help Pm Me I Will Email You A Set Up Sheet From The Last Carpet Race I Was At.... Although It Will Be For A Gen3 It May Help Depends On What Car Your Running
