If you watched "Person of Interest" (on TV, CBS), you would understand the value of FaceBook (but it was only mentioned in one episode).

j/k
Never seen that show..
don't know if they were trying to illustrate the good
or the bad of it.
I think it's a huge fad right now.
I also think that people are nuts to be giving so much information out
on themselves. To the entire world. And can't wait to do it!
More importantly, to people that can capitalize on that information
in a bad way.
Everybody out there isn't a smiley face..

I may be too much of a skeptic.
I just think some day there will be millions of people wishing they had
never done Facebook....
Probly already..
If you use it and like it, that's cool.
There are 1/2 billion people in the world using it.
But just think.
If there was only 1/10 of 1 percent of those bad,
and capable of taking advantage of it... that's a half million bad guys.
It's just not for me.

I find Facebook quite useful for communicating to my friends and family all over the country. So much more personal than plain old e mail. Besides, it only gives out info the user allows.
But if it's not for you, more power to ya!!!!!

Yeah. I've heard that.
Also heard of hackers.
Like the ones that got into Bank of America's files.
Or my Fidelity account that was compromised because
of an employee error.
Or countless other incidents.
If you want to be real personal with people, I've always
found a phone call or letter to work.
But if it's not for you, more power to ya!!!!!
Like I said, it's probly me, and an age thing.
I still can't figure how mankind survived all of these thousands of
years, without a cell phone super glued to their heads.
Or the need to text while driving a car..
Just me.
Enjoy your Facebook, please don't think I am knocking it.
I agree 100%.. it's just not for everyone...
