To all you HW guys!!!!... Check your local Big Lots, was there today and they had a mess of HW's.....

Yeah, It's about time... In the past I have found misc. HWs there, but like the oil can cars and a few different 100%s for great prices... I found some mainlines at the Big Lots by my house the other day !!!

A new Big Lots opened in my hometown and there were a half dozen 2009 Treasure Hunt 1949 Mercurys!!!

I popped in Big Lots and they had a mess of them as well but Older 09 HW.

I picked up one .....Green DD

From what I saw they were packed in flats that hold the card straight up
( standing )...If you are a person who loves your cards straight you may
be bummed at Big Lots as most were bent over as they stacked them on
top of each other and the tops of the cards were dog eared. At least this
was at my Big Lots.

can aynone tell me how many cars with&with out engine and type of
car in the set that has september 11 2001 on pack,i have the same
question for the vote america cars

Sure. There are 6 castings: '69 Camaro. '70 Cuda. '41 Willys coupe, '63 Vette, '69 Chevelle and '66 GTO. Each of these was made with and without a monster motor. And the entire set was made with and without "racing" wheels as a hobby exclusive. That is a total of 24 cars, 4 versions of each of the six castings. I think what may confuse some people is that this is the first set released late in 2001 as a memorial. It was so popular that two more sets were made in '02 and '03 with similar graphics using different castings.

Vote America was in 4 releases, the first two were: '57 Chevy, '69 Camaro, '69 Chevelle, '66 Mustang, '69 Charger and '70 Cuda; each was issued in liquid blue and liquid red. The next two releases (Vote America II) were: '55 Chevy, '69 Daytona, '50 Studebaker, '49 Merc, '56 Olds and '66 GTO; each was issued in liquid blue with a monster motor or liquid red with a stock hood.

Thanks for the heads up. They had a whole disp[lay that wasn't there a few weeks ago. I picked up a Sooo Fast w/ mooneyes tampo and a '69 Corvette I had been wanting but had only seen in the Sharkbite 5 pack till now.
