Zamacs do show up sometimes at the Walmarts in Canada because sometimes they get US cases but most of the time they get international cases and they don't have zamacs but your not gonna see the Target exclusive Red edition cars in Canada because there isn't any Target's in Canada and no other stores carry them. So the only way your probably gonna be able to get these is either buy them online or trade for them with somebody.

What diecast brands do you regularly see/get in Canada that we dont get in the USA? Perhaps those can be used as trades for the ZAMACs and/or Target Reds. I know I would like to see the higher levels of Maisto, but we only get the Fresh Metal ones and some 1:24 scale. And even those are the lower end castings.

I am also starting to see some of the RMZ castings being found in the States but those usually were coming out of Europe before.

Postage and shipping are usually the deal breakers though. As I under stand it - you basically have to pay the shipping costs for one Country and then the shipping costs for the other Country at the same time.

Thanks for your kind replies..
Will check into buying Ebay or a US Dealer in diecast...
Yes...Target stores were only here for a short while...wish they had stayed..
Part of Target's problem in Canada was that they only had 2 distribution centers for the entire country, so things bogged down and shelves went empty.

I think the variety of diecast available to the US market is a lot greater than Canada....I never see any of the Auto World or Johnny Lightning for example..
Have not seen any of the RMZ castings in Canada.

Yes...Postage/shipping has been a killer...it has been more than 7 years since ordering anything from the US...mainly because of it.
It was cheaper from China, Germany, Japan and England. and now that has changed as well.. I'm not a fan of the Global Ebay shipping..

....never knew that...thanks.

Shipping anything to Canada is very expensive. The USPS is the cheapest way to ship north of the border.
