I got a eu2000i generator that broke the timing belt
How do you do the timing on this engine, photos would be nice.
Thanks

I figured it out. Engine runs great.
On the muffler side there are two lines on the cam sprocket, make sure that they are straight across parallel with the valve head. The crank shaft has a sprocket on the bottom of it, where the belt goes on. You will see a square mark, make sure that it lines up with a vertical line mark on the cylinder wall. Check and make sure that the piston is tdc on compression stroke and both valves are closed and rockers loose. Hope this is clear and it helps.
