I recently picked up a snowblower that had a GX390 on it. The motor was running great when I picked it up, but when I got it home it would not start. It will kick and spit and sputter if I run the choke and throttle at the same time. I have confirmed that I have fire at the spark plug and have removed the carb and gave it a quick cleaning. Any other suggestions?

take the jet out and clean it. sounds like a carb problem and sometimes when spraying up in there it don't work. just give it a thural cleaning and it should be good to go.

It actually turned out to be the spark plug, I grounded it out and pulled it and confirmed that the old plug was firing, but decided to change it anyway and try it, and voila, two pulls later she was rumbling like a harley.
