Mark, that is the one, and I believe it may be a fake, but I won't say why I think it is because it may lead to more fakes by giving away a clue on how to make one, and I may be wrong.Mark Hosaflook said:I'm blocked from e-bay here at work but please don't tell me this is that LFest Camaro with the red and blue rims. Please tell me it isn't.
I can't tell you how I felt when I heard there was one on e-bay that looked like a non-China item and in fact an RC2 employee and now if they are bidding on their own item I just can't put into words how I feel about it.
If it is the same one I've been made awre of, they also have PSR and Rocket 500 sets. Boy do I feel just great about this. What a happy day.
I wouldn't think it's the same guy, but I could be wrong. Their selling styles are totally different.YellowBronc said:So wait a minute, this is an RC2 employee bidding on his own things???? I thought something seemed fishy with that Kevster guys auctions when ol' jones kept bidding on everything he had. I'm reporting this @$$hole to eBay!
, maybe multiple reports will get him canned quicker
Why not? Lets expose the person. He obviously has no problem with benefiting off of RC2 , 'Fest, his or others employee status etc. He has the card with it, the same one all of our cars came with so it was obviously done in Oak Brook and not China because I know Z made those insert cards.Wyatt said:Mark, that is the one, and I believe it may be a fake, but I won't say why I think it is because it may lead to more fakes by giving away a clue on how to make one, and I may be wrong.
I'm not necessarily trying to say its the same guy, but it doesnt have to be with shill bidding, as I'm sure you know. It seems funny to me that their picture taking styles are similar and they both have rare JL items and one is bidding for the others, just not making sense to me. Its most likely two buddies, but thats still no excuse. I have reported them to ebay's safe harbor for shill bidding and would encourage others to do the same. If we are wrong, I'll be the first to publicly appologize.chriscobbs said:I wouldn't think it's the same guy, but I could be wrong. Their selling styles are totally different.
