your opinion is not fact. While I do agree that it can be a "holy grail" until found, folks have posted finding their holy grail because prior to that time, it was indeed their holy grail. How else should they describe it?

"Prior to posting this diecast, it was my holy grail, and now I have found it, so I will post it...but it should no longer be considered a holy grail". Maybe something more concise?

I suppose if one were to have a case full of "Holy Grails", those sacred items would need only be highly sought after at one time, in order to retain the title... After all, your girl may have become your wife years ago, but she's still your girl. :p

Well, if you have a case full of rare jewels, that doesn't mean those jewels are no longer "holy grails"...

Just sayin...
