Just something I was detailing over the holiday. I had built, primed and painted the overall color in October/November and then it sat for weeks on the workbench until Thanksgiving weekend. I've been working little by little to finish it. It's still a WIP. Hope to have it done in time to bring to SF Weekend at Hi-Way Hobbyhouse!

The base color is Testors Medium Green. Detail painting is being done mostly with Testors Acryl colors: British Crimson (underside of wings) Rust, Gunship Gray, Euro I Green, Dark Ghost Gray, and enamel Aluminum.

Much more to go....

Thanks, Butch! Albeit, it will be weathered when I am done with it. Not much, just a bit. In fact, I've already started with the grill on top, dry brushing some rust on it. I'll then add some black the same way or perhaps with charcoal stick....not sure yet. May need to experiment! Here are a few more shots.

That paint job can either be lotsa fun, or drive one to drink.
