Folks,

As you may or may not know, Hobbytalk is ramping up its presence on Facebook in the coming months. I just wanted to encourage you guys to join in by liking the page and hopefully submitting some of your work for inclusion.

I don't know the exact process as to how content will be determined as yet, but figured I'd put this out there for discussion so we - the HT Science Fiction Modeling community - are well represented.

Mods, if I'm overstepping here, I apologize.

While I'm not all over that.

On a personal level I feel Facebook to be...not positive. While I doubt it'll 'ghost out' like MySpace has I suspect the bloom will be off that rose in the not too distant future as some 'new hotness' like Twitter comes along.

Blah blah privacy concerns blah blah selling our souls to the marketers blah blah overhyped home of ADD riddled people all turned into emo 14 year old girls blah blah ranty rant. :)

I think this is just fine as it is, thank you very much. I'll want another blanket for my rocking chair and GET OFF MY LAWN! :)

Had dinner recently with a couple of friends I hadn't seen in over 30 years. It was a terrific time, and I am very glad to be back in touch with them. We had re-established contact on Facebook. I'm careful what I reveal on there due to privacy concerns, but I really value its better aspects.
