How about "Work Raceway." That way, when someone asks you where you were all weekend, you can say, "I was at Work." :p

Or, maybe the "He Ain't Here Raceway"...

I took this picture up in Lake Station, Indiana. Funny.

I think you may have nailed it.
Im pretty good at nailing it...

If the guys that have emailed the fairgrounds would copy them to me at
[email protected]...I would like to print them off and give them to Bill to take with him to the meeting.. Sort of like a petition but more for support!

Thanks again to all of you that have or will participate in doing this.

Thanks,
Steve

Alright here we go, the Mayor has arrived. LOL! I don't mean to be negative, but I just don't know why the RCAR thread had to be closed. In my mind it coulda stayed up, in looking around at some other tracks that have closed some have chosen to leave there thread alone. OH WELL! So long RCAR it was a great ride, track and thread. Now on to BIGGER AND BETTER things with this new venture.
Guys I did talk to Bill last night for a few on the phone. The name is still kinda in limbo, so if any of you wanna try and help out on a new name, I think he would appreciate the ideas, I think he was wanting to try and keep Hobby R/C included. I am also gonna speak on his behalf on another account. I don't care if he yells at me or not. Love ya Bill. If anybody can jump in and help out with all this, if bill asks or even if he doesn't ask, can we all please try and jump in and help out where and if possible. He will not be able do this on his own. Rcar did not go together with just one person, there was a whole slue of people involved in the Birth of Rcar. I can't remember them all. And all the while even though the grounds are laid , as far the track already being there, and it may seem that there is not alot to do, there is quite a bit of a burden we can lift off his shoulders.
Thanks everybody in advance. From one friend to the next.

Great Job Bill! I wish you lots of luck with the Fair Board. I will be back at your track with no name now and I think a lot more will come back too.

Im sure we can use ur help some how. More the marrier..As far as the name goes theres a couple that stand out ,Circle City Raceway, and Hobby R/C raceway. It'll be up to Bill. Hobby R/C is where i got started in the hobby, and Barb is a great lady (origanal owner of Hobby R/C). So the name Hobby R/C Raceway carries a big part in my heart in the hobby. But at this point as long we have a place call it what you want..I just need my fix..;)
