Hi all,

I have questions about the different voltages that the different make HO cars prefer.

I beleive that the older tjets like the higher voltage (20-22?) but do all tjets even the newer makes run at the same the same?

What about all the other different brands and types?

If they are all different, other than the great info here does anyone know of a single source for this info?

Most Tjet road races are held at 18vdc. That seems to be the standard these days. The drag guys run at 22 to 24vdc I believe. The Gjets run at 12vdc. I have no idea what the mag cars run at but I think it is still 18vdc.

USDRA and DrHoe is running at 27 volts with two batteries on each lane and ioda chargers to boost up the current. "Moe Power"
In lines run well over 100 MPH and the t-jts don't like that much juice. They seem to like around 25 or 26 Volts.
We have run as high as 29 vots just to many parts keep breaking, no fun.
27 volts seems to be rat on the edge.

I thought it was 110, straight from the wall socket?
