I just picked up an old wood splitter with what I think is a an Old Kohler engine but the data plate is missing. I need to rebuild it so can anyone ID this engine and let me know where I can get parts?
thanks.

nope, horse, maybe 5-6 but that tell us a thing on model and spec

double check the rewind shroud near the plug, make sure it isn't stamped up there

what parts are you looking for?

Engine ID

I need a carb kit and rings. Need to do an overhaul. There is no rewind spring. Just wrap the cord around it and pull like He doubble tooth picks.
I may just buy a new engine from Briggs.
Thanks
