I’ve recently purchased a vintage hotwheel lot from a collector. This Gran Torino was included, however I couldn’t find images of this exact model with a black stripe down the middle. All of the 70s castings of this car had racing decals . The blue windshield implies it was made in Hong Kong. Does anyone have any info on this car? Maybe someone previously customized it.

The car in question is a Monte Carlo Stocker. It appears to be a custom, since the car was only released in Yellow and Lemon Yellow enamel with Red Line wheels. Here is a link to the information about the casting: Monte Carlo Stocker
Welcome to the community. Feel free to show some of the others castings you picked up.

It is the Monte Carlo. There were a few other international releases in blue but none with the red and black paint job yours has.
