Take a look at the chassis pic, don't you just love the slight trim work? I'm betting this is the direct results of the Aurora Hop Up Hints book and to a hard to find slate colored Vette! Doh......

Poor lil' Slatevette. See the hinge effect on the back third? Not enough meat left to keep her trunk from swinging up and away.

On a positive note...she'd be a great donor. :thumbsup:

I'll need the bumpers off the Vette for the turquoise one I have. I found a yellow Vette body at the Midwest show uncut for $5.00 and took the bumpers from the turquoise one for it. The turquoise Vette has cut wheel wells, not as bad as the slate one.

I'll tear down each car and clean everything when I get them.

The cars arrived in yesterday's mail.

The slate Vette is hacked real good. I'm talking Stanley Knife good. The Ford J and Thunderbird had some removed from the rear wheel wells also. But not like the poor Vette.

I may try and repair the Vette body. Not sure how to do it. Graft part of an old one or use modeling, plastic putty, or epoxy putty.

All of the chassis's run. The one with the Thunderbird had a bunch of metal shavings and steel wool on the magnets.

I wish they could talk, I think I know what the Vette would say. OW, OW, OW, OUCH!
