GMP aka Georgia Marketing and Promotions was located in Winder, Georgia. They issued their first 1:64 scale diecast as a Corvette C5R. It was available in two color variations - white and yellow. The detailed model has an intricate tampo application of the #4 race livery and sponsorship. The windshield wiper is a seperate piece from the windshield. Comparison is made to Carisma castings.

As President of GMP, Tom Long started GMP after seeing a friend's success in the diecast business. He landed agreements with a number of the NASCAR Busch Series teams that were released as 1:64 diecast replicas in October of 1992.

They went on to produce mostly American muscle cars in 1:43 and 1:8 scale.

An unspecified relationship with ACME Trading Co is noted.

Their Masterpiece Collection is a range of figures from Dr Who.

Their Real Arts Replica and Road Racing Champions series were of 1:18 racing cars.

Their Plumfloored Creations was a 1:18 scale range of American Muscle cars.

Their Supercar Collectibles Brand was founded in 1995, as a 1:18 scale model series of high end muscle cars.

In 2007, Long was inducted into the Diecast Scale Model Hall of Fame.

Long was inducted into the Diecast Hall of Fame for his design work in 2009.
