THIS IS WHAT WE HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR!!!
RCX - LONG BEACH APRIL 28TH/29TH. GIANT RC will set up their portable track for demonstrations of 1/4 scale, 1/5 scale, 1/8 scale nitro. Lot’s of stuff planned don’t miss it. We are in desperate need of more 1/4 and 1/5 scale cars and drivers, both on road and off road. Please contact Larry today. This is a tremendous opportunity for YOU to have a part in promoting the sport you love.
YES we are going to have our RC TRACKS at GLEN HELEN RACEWAY MOTOCROSS TRACKS located at 18585 Verdemont Ranch Rd., San Bernardino, CA 92423. We have a new location which is even better than the first one. We are working out the details and hope to start building soon. Our plans are for a 1/5 Scale Off Road and a separate all scales Oval. Another track will be designed for 1/8 Scale Nitro and the newer fast 1/8 Scale Electric. This track will also accommodate the popular 4WD Short Course Trucks with Brushless Motors and Lipo Batteries.
We are still going to need some help for this huge project in order get it off the ground quickly once the location is selected. Please keep these things in mind so we can have them lined up when we are ready to move forward. Items and help needed: Huge water tank (bigger the better), signs, banners, shirts, flyers, fencing, 25kw generator, and fire hose 1 ½ inch, fuel (gas and diesel). If you can or know someone that can donate or provide at cost some of these items it would be greatly appreciated. Of course we will need some shovel and rake work. Various levels of sponsorship are available both personal and companies.
GIANT RC 1/10, 1/8 Scale Electric/Nitro Off Road tracks now has more, bigger jumps “just the way you like it.” Tracks are located at the Giant RC shops at 18620 Cajon Blvd., San Bernardino, CA 92407 (Devore area). Hours are Monday-Friday Noon to Dusk, Saturday-Sunday 8AM to 6PM (Note new hours). Practice fee is $10 for the day. It is also available for private parties.
“Try before you buy” We do have 1/10 scale electric cars/trucks for rent. GIANT RC has a new feature in place to keep everyone “in the loop” quickly by using the Must Go Mobile SMS Text marketing program. Just text “GO GIANTRC” to 20300. You will be notified of schedule changes, weather related issues and other news of importance.
SOMETHING NEW-STARTING MAY 5TH GIANT RC WILL HOLD RC SWAP MEETS THE FIRST SATURDAY OF EVERY MONTH AT THEIR SHOP IN DEVORE. CARS, PLANES, AND BOATS. “BEST PART” FREE TO BUYERS AND SELLERS. TRACK WILL ALSO BE OPEN FOR REGULAR PRACTICE AT $10 PER DRIVER.
