GIANT RC UPDATE
SOMETHING NEW - STARTING THIS SATURDAY, MAY 5TH GIANT RC WILL HOLD RC SWAP MEETS THE FIRST SATURDAY OF EVERY MONTH AT THEIR SHOP IN DEVORE FOR CARS, PLANES, BOATS. “BEST PART” FREE TO BUYERS AND SELLERS.
GIANT RC 1/10, 1/8 Scale Electric/Nitro Off Road TRACKS. Now has MORE, BIGGER JUMPS “just the way you like it.” Tracks are located at the Giant RC shops at 18620 Cajon Blvd., San Bernardino, CA 92407 (Devore area). Hours are Monday-Friday Noon to Dusk, Saturday-Sunday 8AM to 6PM (Note new hours).
PRACTICE SPECIAL - THIS SATURDAY/SUNDAY
$10 TWO FOR ONE
Also available for private parties.
“Try before you buy” We do have 1/10 scale electric cars/trucks for rent.
The official name of our new RC tracks will be GLEN HELEN RC RACEWAY located at 18585 Verdemont Ranch Rd., San Bernardino, CA 92423. Construction should begin May 14th and be open by the end of the month. Our plans are for a 1/5 Scale Off Road and a separate all scales Oval. Another track will be designed for 1/8 Scale Nitro and the newer fast 1/8 Scale Electric. This track will also accommodate the popular 4WD Short Course Trucks with Brushless Motors and Lipo Batteries.
We are going to need some help for this huge project in order get it off the ground quickly once the location is selected. Please keep these things in mind so we can have them lined up when we are ready to move forward. Items and help needed: Huge water tank (bigger the better), signs, banners, shirts, flyers, fencing, 25kw generator, fire hose 1 ½ inch, fuel (gas and diesel). If you can or know someone that can donate or provide at cost some of these items it would be greatly appreciated. Of course we will need some shovel and rake work. Various levels of sponsorship are available both personal and companies.
GIANT RC has a new feature in place to keep everyone “in the loop” quickly by using the Must Go Mobile SMS Text marketing program. Just text “GO GIANTRC” to 20300. You will be notified of schedule changes, weather related issues and other news of importance.
