What gearing would you guys start with running 1s 40c lipo, 17.5 tekin redline motor, and a flat carpet track with a 180 foot runline? Currently running 82/46. Thanks guys

Gearing all depends on your timing in the motor, what speedo and timing in it. Your tire size........etc

running a novak gtb, stock timing(so 30 degrees), and 2.25" tires.

I not sure of redline rpm compared to novak and duo I run but should be able to run at least a 50 pnion.

Chris I was running a 88 with a 59 with my spx, tires were about 2.15 on diameter. Bruce and Chris S were faster then me but this will get you close on roleout (4.52) which was to high. We will have to play with you motor timing.
