Gama models were made by George Adam Mangold in Furth, Bavaria. Mangold began operations in 1882 producing tin plate mechanical toys.
They began making diecast in 1959.
In 1968, they issued the Gama Minette series of 1:64 scale diecast cars. Models produced in this series were race cars and commercial vehicles. Although, there are only 16 models in the series - the casting numbers range from 1 to 33.
The Gama name is now owned by Marklin, but no recent issues are known.
