The best Forever 64 Release to date IMHO.

Can't say this release lacks variety or imagination. I don't lke the repeated derby car, and the VW bus could stand a little oomph, but there are some interesting choices here, compared to many past releases.

I like the 67 Plymouth Fury (of course) but I wish they would make a 68 instead and as a 2 door hardtop. Better looking car imho

I also like the Lincoln. I'd be interested in getting either of those two. The rest - probably not.

Lemme guess, you like the rear clip of the '68 way better than the '67, right?
The rear qrtrs and back of the '68 is sorta Road Runner-like. Just plain better looking.
The rear clip of the '67 is sorta grandma-like.

A few years ago a guy from JL posted an impromtu contest on JL Talk, and I won.
The prize was that I got to pick a car that JL would cast. (!!!!!!)
You can imagine my exitement.
I tried to pick something that would maybe sell ok, but still something that I liked, so I picked my non-Fast Top '68 Fury 2dr. hrtp. coupe.

I think you all know what happened next.
I was happy to get a '67 4dr, but......:)

I think it's cool they are doing a big variety, sadly only the PiP Mustang will find a home with me. Thumbs up for the effort, just not stuff I'm into!

Scout is awesome as expected
The dark teal VW looks great. The color is really nice. Ill have to get more for wedding favors

OK so my first thought of the Cherokee....

Snorkel will easily break off

Second thought
its awesome!

You look at grandmas rear clip Lummie?

And he likes it Stuzie!

You sure do know what I like, Stutzeroonie!

I think the Jeep will be a huge hit, it looks waaaay cool! I want a 1:1 !!!

The '67 Fury would look cool with dog dish caps and body colored rims.

So isn't that IH a little high for those little tires???
To me it either needs to be lowered or have much bigger meats under it.

The MoPar taxi looks realy good.
The rims make it. Are those rims brand new?

I'm realy bummed to se those wheels on that beautiful Linciln Mk IV

Love the fact the 'Stang is a flat red. Good move, JL!

Overall, a pretty good release JL, keep up the good woik!!!!

Yep! You got it! Also think the rear fascia on the 68 is a lot cleaner and nicer looking. And although the front grilles are both pretty good for their year, I probably like the 68 a little better there also.

I like the Lincoln casting but the wheel choice takes away from this piece - PASS.
Popeye Wagon? Already have a few - PASS
Galactic Thingamabob? - PASS
Citation? Enough already! - PASS
'55 Chevy? Um...no. - PASS
ANOTHER '66 Mustang Fastback?:freak:? OK, it's a PIP.
Like Lummox said, bring that Scout down to earth a bit and give it bigger shoes. - PASS
Monaco Taxi (yellow!) with spot-on rims??
Admitted weakness for the '67 Fury. (Hey Lummox! Sorry you didn't get your '68 2 door, but 4 doors are badly needed in the 1:64 world)
Chevy Modified Coupe? Stafford Motor Speedway is 45 minutes from my house!
VW Transporter? *snooze* - PASS
Jeep Cherokee. Give us variety.

That's my critique of release 22. Metal bases anyone?

Yeah, that's why I was still happy to get the Fury. We need four doors/variety!
Still could use some more wagons. Would love for M2 to do a wagon.
It would probably have an opening gate like the '64 Olds Vista Cruiser.
