Probably the nicest Ford Ambulance there is in that scale, but the front end is where they dropped the ball. It's really chunky, kind of bulbous, and not nearly as finely reproduced or correctly proportioned as the rest of the vehicle. Otherwise I'd get one in a minute.

Funny, that's pretty much what I thought of the 1:1 edition. I was thinking MB didn't do a half bad job of making it look halfway decent. :)

The ambulances are based upon two different Ford chassis' which is why the proportions are different.

The MBX is based on an E350 (Econoline) van cutaway chassis...



The Code 3 is base on an F350 (pickup) conventional chassis...
