For Guntownal, I took a couple pics. And i have a couple questions at the bottom.

Info on the bottom...
Copyrighted 1999 by Matchbox. Ford Dump/Utility Truck. China
3010 EA

Does the 3010 EA mean that there was only 3010 of these made? I've always wondered about that.
And how would the numbers on the box code out? (CM-3527)

3010EA is a date reference for when that particular model was produced in a particular factory. The numbers are broken down as follows....

First 3 numbers - day of year
Last number - last number of year (this only occured for a few years, so we know which decade)
Two letters - which factory

So in this case, the model you have was produced on the 301st day of 2000 (or October 27 2000 if my math is correct). Most models were made in the factory designated "EA", although there was a second factory that also made a small selection (mainly Convoy).

:) :D :p
