I tried out uploading images this afternoon from flikr pages using their available share options.

I was able to continue using the BBC option to directly paste an image into a thread post.

I wasnt able though to use just an image url address in the insert url address option below - to show an image. Though it did post the url link - which would open a new web page for the image in flikr.

I was able though to use the shorter share link url address at flikr in the same insert url address option button below and it did insert an image in the post. It is a smaller water marked image which I had never seen (used) before. And has live links to each water mark portion!

I was testing out the flikr options again and made this post. The first image is the share link and doesnt show the water marks until you hover over it and is a bit smaller.

It also doesnt include your account and flikr links as the BBC link does. I would think it meets their request to include that information when we use image links and to me it looks cleaner in the post and you dont have edit the html language for the ' and & symbols in a lot of titles we use.

I prefer have the casting name present so I will probably keep using the BBC link coding for that level of detail, but it will save you a few steps using the share code link to post an image.
