I know what you're thinking: "Isn't it 2007?"

Yes, it is.

But these pictures are from a Jedi Starfighter I built last year.
I finally had the roll of film developed, and transferred to a computer
disc. That makes it possible to post to this forum!

Finally, I can give back to HobbyTalk for the first time since my scanner
went dark!

This Jedi Starfighter is painted in what I call "Beach Camo". The colors
are medium Leaf Green, and Modern Desert Sand. My concept is that
the ship could land on the beach and blend in with the palm trees and
sand! Hide on the beach, and get a tan!

What difference does it make, if a green R2 unit is in the movies or not. :freak:

It is a very good job, and I like the idea of a beach camo color.
Glad you could get the photos to us.

Beach? Tan? A Jedi craves not these things. ;)

Nice work! Are you planning to add any weathering, or is this one gonna stay "show-room fresh"?

Thanks guys!

The ship will remain "show room fresh".

Obi-wan had a copper colored droid in Episode III. Why not a green one?
