Thank you guys... the colour is tamiya AS-16 light grey USAF spray, It does have aztecing (belive it or not) that was done with a pearl clear, but it was lost during the gloss coat! (sorry John P, I know your not fond of aztec on the TOS connie ) but I ended up with a pretty authentic look I think.

And again thanks for the praise chaps, much needed after the day i"ve had.

Very nice! I, too, am one of those who likes to have the Class Ship in his fleet. A number of my 1/2500 ships are the first of that particular class, as a matter of fact.
