Here is the Taco Bell version with its solid silver windows.

Matchbox International, made in China, "SII" (Strottman International)

Strottman is a sub-contractor for these fast food restaurant toys.







Here is a 1962 Corvette from the same series. Other models in this black/white/red series were the VW Concept 1 and Hummer. Earlier models included the '57 Chevy and K-1500 Chevy Pickup in white/green/blue.

On that web site,I found a picture of the car that Matchbox used and it is this car,his description says lt1 Firebird Formula, FYI the noses on the T/A has more front spolier than a Formula Firebid which is in his description.

See the round fog lights in the Trans Am's front bumper/spoiler?????? Do you see any fog lights in the matchbox version?????

You see where it says Formula on the side of the door on the yellow one???
See the round fog lite holes in the gold trans am???????
